These Terms and Conditions apply to the Outpost 42 website and the sale, supply, download, licensing, and use of software products including VidTrigger.

VidTrigger is marketed under Outpost 42 and developed/published by Vincent Hearn.

By accessing this website, purchasing VidTrigger, downloading it, activating it, or using it, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • your order may be subject to verification or fraud checks
  • a contract is formed only when payment has been successfully received and the product, download, or licence is made available

6. Licence and use

Your use of VidTrigger is subject to the applicable licence terms.

Direct / website purchases

If you purchase VidTrigger directly through Outpost 42, use of the software is governed by the VidTrigger End User License Agreement published on this website.

App Store purchases

If you obtain VidTrigger through the Apple App Store, use of that version is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement together with applicable Apple terms.

7. Activation and licensing

Direct versions of VidTrigger supplied by Outpost 42 may require licence activation and validation.

You agree not to:

  • share licence keys in an unauthorised way
  • attempt to bypass activation controls
  • use fraudulent or unauthorised keys
  • interfere with licensing systems

Outpost 42 reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or refuse licences where misuse, fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms is reasonably suspected.

8. Data and privacy

App Store version

The App Store version of VidTrigger is intended not to collect personal data from within the app itself.

Direct / website version

The version supplied directly by Outpost 42 may collect limited data necessary for licensing, activation, fraud prevention, support, and technical operation.

9. Refunds

Because VidTrigger is a digital product, refunds are not guaranteed once access, download, or licence delivery has been provided, unless required by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

All intellectual property rights in VidTrigger, Outpost 42 branding, website content, software, graphics, design, and associated materials remain the property of Vincent Hearn and/or Outpost 42 unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, copy, modify, or commercially exploit any part of them except as allowed by law or with express written permission.

13. Availability and disclaimer

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website, downloads, and software available and accurate, but no guarantee is given that services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or system.

VidTrigger and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vincent Hearn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from use of the website, software, downloads, licensing systems, or related services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

Outpost 42 may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website.

16. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law applies otherwise.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless applicable law requires otherwise.
